Hundreds of Santas are being sought to take part in the third Newcastle Santa Run, supported by Northumbrian Water.
This year's festive fun run is being held to raise much needed funds for Zoe's Place Baby Hospice and the Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund.
Last year's run was a huge success. Over 400 people took part, and ran, jogged or walked the 4km route (approx 2.5 miles). They raised a fantastic £15,000 for charity.
This year for the 1st time, families can take part in the Santa Run!There will be two runs this year, a main run for adults (aged 14+) and a family run.
All entrants will follow the same run route, but only adults will be timed.
Entry into the main run costs £15 for adults (all runners will be timed by the UK AA and entry into the family run costs £15 for two adults and two children or £12.50 for one adult and one child.
Once you have entered you will be sent a runner information pack and a Santa Suit (adults only) Children are required to wear Christmas related fancy dress of their own choice.
